Two Versions, Total Coverage

Two Versions, Total Coverage: PSG for the Entire VW Group Aftermarket

For more than eight years, Hidria has been supplying the Volkswagen Group with combustion pressure sensing glow plugs (PSG) in addition to regular Glow Plugs.

A PSG works by heating the combustion chamber during cold starts while simultaneously measuring in-cylinder pressure in real time. This data is sent directly to the engine control unit (ECU), allowing precise control of fuel injection timing, quantity, and combustion quality. The result is smoother engine operation, improved fuel efficiency, and reduced emissions.

Until now, only a certain percentage of vehicles, those not originally built with a Hidria Pressure Sensor Glow Plug, could be serviced by Hidria in the aftermarket.

We are now thrilled to announce the launch of a brand-new plug-and-play Hidria PSG (H70 011), designed specifically for vehicles not originally equipped by Hidria. In parallel to its own PSG (H70 001), Hidria can now fully cover the complete VW engine range in the aftermarket with two versions.
